Apply for service

When you become a Citizens Electric customer, you become a member/owner, which entitles you to share in the equity of the corporation. The steps to becoming a member/owner are as follows:

  1. Complete membership application.
  2. Information on this application will be used for the purpose of credit verification. A security deposit will be charged or waived according to the results.
  3. You will receive a share of stock for a $5.00 membership fee.
  4. We will schedule your in-service date.

If you are new to the area and need to apply for service to an existing home or apartment, you can begin the process by completing this request form. Since your signature is required for service, you will need to print the completed form, sign and return it in person, by mail or by fax.
