10:30 Outage update

Just over 200 CEC members remain without power this morning due to high winds. Most of the outages are in Citizens' Altenburg/Fruitland District where 104 members are out.

The areas affected in that region include members south of State Highway 177 and near Neely's Landing.

There are currently 50 services without power in the northwestern part of Ste. Genevieve County and 50 out south of Perryville in the Longtown area.

Crews have been dispatched to the areas affected, but it is not known at this time when restoration will occur.

Please watch for downed power lines and assume that all wires are energized. Do not touch or drive over downed lines. Call Citizens Electric at 1-800-286-2251, and keep others away until our crews arrive.
