Operation Round-Up

Operation Round Up is a program that allows Citizens Electric’s members to round up their monthly electric bills to the next even dollar. This amount may range from one penny to 99 cents, with a maximum of $11.88 per year.

These funds are deposited into the Special Projects Fund at EMAA and dispersed to those in need of energy assistance in accordance with guidelines set by CEC and the Energy Crisis Intervention Program.

Any payments made through this program are sent directly to the utility and not to the individual, thus ensuring that the money is being used as intended by those members who contribute.

The money contributed by you, the member stays within your county. For instance, Ste. Genevieve members participating in the round-up program can be assured that their contributions will remain in Ste. Genevieve County.
